Law & Order will be protected: CM Kiran Kumar Reddy

Hyderabad, Jan 1: The Chief Minister,Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy, here on Saturday assured that his government would take adequate steps to protect law and order in the State. 

Mr Reddy exuded confidence that there would be no disturbances in the State during 2011. Stating that his government has already presented a preliminary report to the Centre on the huge losses suffered by the State due to recent rains, he said that final report on the crop and property damage would be ready after visit of the Central team to the State. 

Reacting to the verdict of Bragesh Kumar Tribunal on Krishna waters, the Chief Minister informed that an Experts Committee was examining the verdict in all angles. The State government would inform its objection on the verdict to the tribunal. 

“After getting an appointment from the PMO, I would lead an all-party delegation to New Delhi on the SC Categorization issue”, he added. The Union Finance Minister was reviewing the financial condition of the State and budget related matters, he added. 

The Chief Minister hoped that the 100-day Action Plan would be helpful for development of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) limits.
